Our story
More Than a Market — A Community of Collectors
Generations of Wichita was built on the belief that every antique carries a story worth preserving. We bring together passionate vendors, curious shoppers, and the timeless treasures that connect us all.
How it began
Rooted in Wichita, Grown by Community
Generations of Wichita started as a dream shared by a small group of antique enthusiasts who wanted more than just a place to sell — they wanted a destination. A place where history could be touched, stories could be shared, and the art of collecting could be celebrated.
What began as a single location on South Tyler Road has grown into a multi-location marketplace with hundreds of vendor booths spanning Wichita and Hutchinson. Each booth is independently curated, giving shoppers an endlessly varied experience every visit.
Today, Generations of Wichita is home to over 200 vendors across our locations — from seasoned vendors with decades of expertise to first-time sellers sharing a beloved family collection.
What we stand for
The Generations Difference
Community First
We're more than a marketplace. We're a gathering place for collectors, decorators, history lovers, and curious wanderers who find joy in the hunt.
Curated Quality
Every vendor brings their own eye and expertise. The result is a constantly evolving collection of furniture, jewelry, art, glassware, and Americana you won't find anywhere else.
Locally Rooted
We're proud to be a Wichita original. Our stores support local vendors, celebrate Kansas history, and keep dollars circulating in the communities we call home.
Always Changing
No two visits are the same. Vendors rotate their inventory regularly, so there's always something new to discover — whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth.
